Did you know that Tiberias is considered one of Israel's four holist cities. Here was the home to the final days of the great Sanhedrin and in 2004 a new Sanhedrin was formed. So it is no coincidence that this holy place was visited by some of the greatest rabbis of the ages and is the burial place for many of them. Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai cleansed the city of impurity and bathed in the hot springs which remain here until this day. Among the burial sites here is that of Rabbi Moshe Chaim Luzzatto over looking Tiberias. Also the tomb of Rabbi Akiva is here. The famous Rabbi Moses Maimonides also known as the Rambam has his tomb here and it is as a major destination for many religious Jews. It is seen in the two photos below.
There are many nice homes, apartments and condos here. Almost all have excellent views.
Come for a stroll and visit the many shops and restaurants the city has for the people of this quaint Jewish city.
Come and visit the plaza called "The BIG" It contains an Ace hardware store and a major grocery store that will have all your home and kosher needs.

Do you know of a more pleasant place to live?
25 minutes south west of Tiberias is the famous Mount Tabor. (Har Tavor in Hebrew) History is alive at the place where Devorah the prophetess and judge of Israel assembled with 10,000 troops and thier general to prepare for battle against the enemy whom they would defeat.
In the flat lands below the enemy approached with a vast army and 900 iron chariots. There the enemy was defeated. These are the same flat lands that extend into the Jezre'el Valley.
There is a road the takes one out of the city of Tiberias. It leads to the the holy city of Tzfat (Safed). As one travels north out of the city one can look back for a last look.
On the road exiting the city to the north, you will enter some of the most beautiful hill country in the world.
So When Are You Coming Home?!
“Those who trust in HaShem are like Mount Zion, which
cannot be moved, but abides forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so
HaShem surrounds His people, from this time forth and forever.”
